My brain just can't get to the answer.

I earn 50k, work 0.8 so my salary is 40k. I pay 11% pension contributions.

I occasionally do overtime, how much can I earn before paying higher tax?

Is it 15k ish?

Yes I think just under £15k before you are on 40% tax. It will just be 40% on anything above £50,270 though.
