I know its a bit woo but has anyone manifested a relationship

I'm at the point of feeling ready to date seriously again - and I love a bit of woo- just curious- anyone made the decision and then manifested their OH?

I think if you're open to a new chapter in your life then yes I believe you'll be more open and accepting of meeting and finding someone

You'll be more friendly and approachable than normal which may just draw the right person to you

Well you'd have to do the same as whether you're not actively manifesting it ie be proactive, be open to meeting people, joining groups, going out, online dating whatever fits in with you.

I think we all used to do that as teenagers. Presumably some pulled it off (dreaming of a random sixth former) and others didn't (Limahl from Kagagoogoo).

But dreams only get you so far. You'll need to make an effort too.

And then, of course, they won't be like the dream! So try not to be so specific you end up disappointed or turn positive opportunities down.

You're talking 'The Secret' vibe? I remember a good few years ago my cousin told me to read that book. I did. I remember following the advice to a tee! It didn't work ( I was desperately unhappy and would have sold my soul to the devil to make me happy again). And then it did, as my now DP and I are very happy. Along with other changes in my life. On one hand, you could day I manifested those changes and a 'new life'. Others might say, that's just life and you wait for the good after the bad or whatever. I know which camp I'm in and it's not a secret!!

Sort of.. I made a decision when I reached a milestone birthday that I was ready to settle down and find the right person. So I joined a dating site the next day and met my husband a couple of days later!
So it was partly me setting the intention to meet someone, but obviously I took action to make that happen.
