I nominate Boris Johnson for widow Twanky
Suella clearly for the pantomime baddie

But can you help me with the other characters? TIA

I think Boris would have made a good widow Twankey a few years ago, but now he'd be the idiot character (often son of dame). Or possibly a drunk person in the audience who's removed by security halfway through...

It would have to be a pantomime and not a nativity, you'd really struggle to find three wise men

LlynTegid · 12/12/2023 12:21

If Mr Johnson was where he should be, he could not do a pantomime with any woman, as prisons are not mixed.

Surely Michael Gove would be the evil character, and probably revel in playing it?

Ethelburgha · 12/12/2023 12:24

Depressing thing is I cannot think of anyone in any of the parties who I’d cast as the hero/ine.

Maybe Rosie Duffield?

Bireadwhatiread · 12/12/2023 12:27

James cleverly as a wise man
Rees Mogg as Scrooge 😅

Dowden as a wise man as he has kept his mouth shut
Jeremy Hunt as Aladdin as he somehow looks 25

Widow Wanky more like

I think the problem here is that we need a pantomime with a whole array of different style villains and only one or two "goodies"!

Perhaps we could go for a rewrite of Snow White where all the seven dwarfs are the villains?

Rees Mogg would make an excellent Scrooge!
Alternatively, he may be the ghost that haunts the (old) theatre this godforsaken pantomime plays at...

I don't know why but I think Sir Keir would look good in tights and hose 😅

Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves springs to mind.
Rosie Duffield would make a good Pantomime Boy and we need a kindly but ugly bloke to play Ali's mum, the washerwoman, or am I thinking of Aladdin?
