Should wood look like this or is it mouldy?

We had a bin store made - it was very expensive but we are pleased with it. Made by a carpenter with treated / weather proofed wood. It's approximately 5 months old now

However I'm not sure about some patches on it. My husband says it's absolutely fine and is treated/ looks normal but I disagree

So... who's right please? Me or him?

Pics shows the areas of discolouration

The first photo shows it as it is and it looks fine - it's the close ups I'm concerned about

Does it come off if you wipe it?

PickleSmith · 12/12/2023 11:06

@Talipesmum I've not tried which I suppose would help! I'll try in 5 mins but no- I don't think it will

It's just weathering, in time it will all be like that.
