The baby woke me at 2am and I couldn't get back to sleep. I'm ruminating on everything from "should we move house?" to "what if my parents and the in-laws all become elderly and infirm and need our help at the same time?" to "how am I going to stay compassionate and patient with the DC tomorrow when I'm so incredibly tired?" 😭

I hear a vibration like electrical noise and I can’t figure out where it’s coming from. It’s going on almost a year, it sounds like a fridge but is not the fridge. I have been going around listening to walls and floors. It’s louder in some rooms than others.

Too much work to do. I hate working in the evenings so I got up at 4 to do it. Another couple of hours then get dds up and out then a day full of meetings, joy!

Perimenopause I think..... Don't sleep well anymore. Could also be debilitating anxiety due to parenting teenagers.

Woke up randomly again 20 mins ago, my alarm doesn’t go off until 7 and I e literally had 5 hours of broken sleep again 😭

Been up since 3.38am. It's about an hour before I usually wake up (I don't sleep much more than 5hrs a night anyway) but I've got a tooth infection added into the mix.
