Car air fresheners that smell subtle and nice?

Looking to buy one, but I want to avoid those awful little tree type ones that are so chemically and overpowering.

I’ve seen expensive ones (£15+) in white company and rituals, but I don’t really want to spend that much.

Or maybe I’d be better off with an old fashioned lavender bag. Just thinking out loud!

Bumping this as I usually hate car air fresheners... they smell so strong and makes me feel car sick. But our new (used) car smells... not horrible... but there's a subtle smell that's bothering me a bit (DH and kids say I am being silly!).
I have fabreezed it and put in a neutrodol. But the smell remains.
I'll get it properly valeted eventually but want something to tide me over until I can afford a valet.
Overpowering air-fresheners need not apply, but there must be something that smells nice and subtle out there?
