Just that really. I also have lots of herbs, garlic, onions etc.

I'd cook the orzo, dice the bacon and fry with some crushed garlic then stir in mascarpone with some salt and pepper. Mix the pasta into the sauce, add a ladle of pasta water if you prefer a thinner sauce. Maybe stir through some fresh parsley or oregano before serving. Or wilt a handful of spinach.

I second the above. Add onions and herbs to the garlic/bacon. Sounds delicious 😋

Oh my, as Joy has said. The ingredients make their own recipe. Yum.

Yup - as everyone else has said. Delicious!

Fry the bacon and a chopped onion and some garlic, then throw in a tin of tomatoes & the orzo, then before you serve, stir in some mascarpone for a creamy tomato and bacon orzo dish.

Have you got frozen peas? If so, fry them with the bacon then add the cooked orzo and swirl through marscapone. Bit of garlic in the initial fry would be good too

Odd question!

Err.... fish and chips?.

skippy67 · 11/12/2023 18:43

Thanks (almost) everyone! I just couldn't think😅

Also not used orzo before, so was doubly stumped.
