Do wireless earbuds work with MP3 players?

Does anyone know if wireless earbuds work with MP3 players, both are Bluetooth compatiable.

It should do. I have an old Sony mp3 player and use some Soundpeats wireless/Bluetooth headphones with it every time I walk the dog. Just turn on Bluetooth on your device, turn on your headphones, look for a device to pair with on your mp3 player, select headphones and they should connect - the mp3 player is pretty old and not sold any more - I had to search for one on eBay to find a replacement for one that was ruined after I had to jump into a river to save my dog - I like the Sony because you can insert a micro SD card - I currently have a 256Gb card in.
