What does your en-suite have?

Just a shower? Just a bath? Both? Combi?

I’ve bought a new house and there’s room for an ensuite but it’s small.

Loo, basin, shower, small cupboard, heater towel rail.

Nellieinthebarn · 11/12/2023 14:38

Shower, loo and wash basin. Its too small really, the washbasin is like a hand one you'd get in a downstairs cloakroom.

TrickyD · 11/12/2023 15:33

Bath shower loo washbasin bidet, large chest of drawers for towels, makeup etc.
It was the sixth bedroom with a door to the landing, we had that blocked up and a door knocked through into our bedroom. It was a smallish bedroom but a nice roomy en suite bathroom.

brassbells · 11/12/2023 15:35

Bath, sink, toilet and shower (as a wet room at one end of the room, as I am in a wheelchair, rather than a cubicle)

HeddaGarbled · 11/12/2023 15:36

Nice big shower. No bath.

GETTINGLIKEMYMOTHER · 11/12/2023 15:37

Two basins in a unit with storage underneath, loo, bath with shower over.
Our ensuite is bigger than the family bathroom!

dementedpixie · 11/12/2023 15:46

Large shower, toilet, sink with storage underneath. Mirrored cabinet on the wall and a towel rail.

The bath is in the bathroom.

DustyLee123 · 11/12/2023 15:47

We took out a bath and have a bigger shower. We have a bath in the main bathroom so didn’t think we needed two, and a walk in shower is better for getting older.

I have the smallest ensuite in a loft conversion with tiny velux window. The builder cut down an ikea kitchen unit so that it fitted over the bulkhead slant of the stairs with a bowl sink on top of it which means I have cupboards for towels, extra toilet rolls ect. This is on the left, opposite the door is a short projection loo and to the right is a bath with shower over it. Very little floor space but I love it as its all mine and i don't have to share with my sons and I can have deep pink towels and bath mat

That’s true ensuite love there, that is. Enjoy every moment with your pink towels. Smile

Basin with storage under, toilet, shower and bath.

TeacherPlease · 11/12/2023 15:52

Bath, separate shower cubicle, toilet, sink and vanity, washing machine and tumble dryer and storage cupboard.

But our en suite is bigger than our main bathroom which is a bath and shower combined.

SaltPepperPotato · 11/12/2023 15:53

We had space for a bath and shower combo but instead we got a lovely walk in shower with a rainfall showerhead. It feels so luxurious. We did also redo the main bathroom and put in a jacuzzi bath.

OneMiniMincePieTooFar · 11/12/2023 15:54

Toilet, sink, double length shower.

No bath. Would have been nice though!

APurpleSquirrel · 11/12/2023 15:57

Shower, loo, basin, heated towel rail & a couple of shelf units. It's my bathroom & I have to give express permission to anyone who wants to use it - it would be perfect if it had a bath too.

FatMumSlimDad · 11/12/2023 16:00

Our en-suite is a Jack and Jill with the hallway so it's bigger than a standard en-suite and is a full bathroom with over bath shower.

Other bedrooms en-suites are loo, sink, shower.

BogRollBOGOF · 11/12/2023 16:19

Shower, toilet, sink and bidet. In tasteful pastel colours compared to avocado anyway 😂

Alas they've seen better days and won't last long enough to see their return to fashion if ever.

Allmarbleslost · 11/12/2023 16:36

Large shower, sink with cupboard underneath, loo

Superstar22 · 11/12/2023 16:43

Large shower, free standing bath, loo and basin, Couple of plants no storage

ThreeRingCircus · 11/12/2023 16:46

Our ensuite is tiny but functional. It has a shower cubicle, toilet, sink with a cupboard underneath it and a mirror over the sink. Heated towel rail under the window as the radiator. I've stayed in caravans with bigger bathrooms but it does the job.

I'd love a bigger shower but it would involve expanding the ensuite and taking some of DD1's bedroom.

welshweasel · 11/12/2023 16:55

We have a shower, sink, unit and towel rail. No loo as would have to be a macerator. When we moved in I thought it would annoy me not to have a loo but actually it's fine and I'm glad we have a massive shower instead!

gotomomo · 11/12/2023 16:58

Loo, sink, shower, storage

Greenbriar · 11/12/2023 17:03

Ensuite 1: combined bidet toilet, sink, heated towel rail, mirror covering one wall, shower cubicle

Ensuite 2: combined bidet toilet, sink, heated towel rail, mirror covering one wall, shower over bath

We had a water softener system installed, which has been great s we're in a hard water area

Milkasheika · 11/12/2023 17:04

Mines an odd one ( we are in a rental abroad)
Out enormous bedroom has several identical doored rooms off it - one is walk in wardrobe, one houses a loo & bidet and handbasin, another has a handbasin, mirror and vanity, one has a shower and the last of all ...one more room with only a bath. There's also a linen cupboard with the same door.
I have never actually used fhe bath.
It's weird but when I used to rent in London the bathroom was in the eaves and had a shower over the bath but you couldn't actually stand up so had to sit and hose yourself .

Alphabet1spaghetti2 · 11/12/2023 17:07

Bath, cupboard with boiler in, toilet and sink. Small set of drawers for storage and two wall units. Space for a huge cat litter tray, a chair and a permanent airing rack.
Although it’s an en-suite I think of it as the second main bathroom because it is big.
