Should I be worried about the mince

I have bought some beef mince I noticed in small print under the use by date it says “not for EU”. Why would they say that have food standards dropped in the UK is it actually beef mince

are you in Northern Ireland? I think it's to do with trade laws not the safety of the beef

It's not consistently all retailers, all foodstuffs, or all areas of the UK. Just depends on product origin and distribution channels.
