Anyone waiting for post?

I’m in West Yorkshire and Royal Mail are really struggling.

I moved here 7 weeks ago and we have had post twice in that time.

local advice was to try the sorting office and they wanted ID. Didn’t have ID as we have just moved here, it’s in the post!

we have managed to find a mortgage statement which they did accept, only to locate 2 letters.

really frustrating as I know that there should be parcels and letters.

not like I can do anything but wait. What’s it like in your area?

It's crap in Kent too.

Seems to be working fine here. I've posted birthday cards to other areas which have arrived in time too (although I post them a couple of days earlier than I used to). All of DS's birthday cards arrived on time too.
The postman is in our street 6 days a week. We don't always get post but he is delivering plenty to other houses.

It’s in the news today, but it’s the Daily Fail so I won’t share, seems it’s not a national problem then.

parcels are being prioritised but not in my experience.
