I love these threads and haven't seen one for a while.

Mine is from my 2 year old. I was away for a few nights last week for work. When I came home she looked me right in the eye and said "I love you!".

She had never said those words before so it was really sweet. She's been stuck to me all weekend and has said it several more times.

Tonight before bed she grabbed my face with her hands and said "I missed you mummy!". Also for the first time.

My little angel. I love her so much.

Dgs 4 said "Gangan I ordered Mama a present for Christmas" Brilliant, I thought now I only need to buy it, wrap it and put it under the tree. "Tell me what it is then" I said. "It's ok Gangan I ordered it on my phone look" he said showing me his palm and scrolling through imaginary pictures of his orders. So it's still a mystery what he thinks he has bought for his Mama.

DS nearly 3, staying up late tonight because of a danger nap, when told he should be asleep..."yeah, i know, but i just don't want to!"
The most savage thing my DD came out with as a toddler, first thing in the morning, came up to me and kissed me on the forehead - i said "thank you darling, that was sweet" and she said "oh mummy, your voice is stinky" - thanks kid! 🤣

My 5 year old was going up to bed with me, and she stopped at the bottom of the stairs and stuck her hand out to let me pass. She smiled at me and said, "you go first, mummy. I exist."

Instead of insist. I just love her.
