I'm in a new build council property. The sound proofing within the property is awful. I desperately need to sound proofing my daughters floor. Which Is above her brothers bedroom. Although we have underlay carpet and rug. You can still hear everything. They can hear each other very clearly and it's causing alot of stress.
I really would prefer something I can put on top of the floor rather than taking it up and putting something under it.
I did see something recently it had 2 or 3 layers to it and was solid but I can't think what it was called .
I'm not looking for better underlay or thicker carpet I need actual sound proofing
Any suggestions? Thanks really need to get it done
