You have 2 school days free per week… in that time you have to get as much household cleaning/washing/cooking done as you can but also need to get some ‘me time’ in. such as work outs, walk, coffee with friends etc.

I’d do the weekly grocery shop online and arrange delivery for early on a non-working day, then do an hour of meal prep in the morning (e.g 4 out of 5 weeknight dinners or working lunches). Do a daily load of laundry and aim to get it washed/dried/away same day. Get into a regular cleaning routine (e.g TOMM/Flylady) so you’re doing little and often.

Meet friends for coffee and a walk, run errands together or do an exercise class together. Double up as much as possible so you’re making the most of your time.

Thanks good ideas. Might try meal prepping more like this as spend to free up more time for daily cleaning/laundry.

just feel whatever I do I never get the balance quite right. Either I’m on top of the house and haven’t done anything for myself (and therefore mental health suffers) or I do something for myself and then I feel bad as playing catch up at home.

So want to go back to online shops but it’s soooo expensive have been trying to do Lidl most of the time. so that takes up some time to go.
