NYE in Lisbon

Has anyone spent NYE in Lisbon? Looking for some advice on whether it's a decent place for a family with tween/early teens?

There appear to be a few places to watch fireworks. Which would you recommend? Any areas where you could get a hotel / restaurant with views? (Probably all booked up, but you never know!)

lisbon is wonderful on NYE. Terreiro Do Paco the big square in the centre of lisbon usually has free concerts on NYE & you can watch the fireworks

Is there just one fireworks display? Three different places get mentioned (the big square and by the water on both sides). Is that just viewing the same fireworks from different places?

There’s usually one at Parque das nações as well which is further out of the city
