Hi all. Had anyone got any experience of chest pain potentially caused by anxiety?
Just to say - I've been to A ana E, had the immediate tests and am seeing a cardiologist so not about to expire. Having an echocardiogram soon.
I had a minor gynae procedure under general anaesthetic then a day after developed chest pains. Now at the time of the op I was known to be anaemic and I also have a minor heart defect (pulmonary stenosis). Therefore there may be underlying physical reasons.
HOWEVER I'm also going through a stressful time with a house sale, temporary accommodation, new job and on top of all that the biopsy results show precancerous changes and I'll have to have a hysterectomy! So there is also the possibility that it may be stress related.
Does anyone have any experience of post operative chest pain or that caused by anxiety they,'d like to share?
Last night I was lying in bed and feeling the pain but it was like I had lost the ability to breathe without thinking about it. Every breath seemed odd and forced and just not the usual. I sometimes feel as if I'm holding my breath until I remember to breathe. Does anyone know what I'm talking about???
If anyone has experienced anything like this, how did it resolve?
I'd love to hear your thoughts xxx
