my DS6 came running downstairs today holding a towel in his hand saying that there’s someone in his room and he wanted to whack him with the towel but that person dissolved into thin air. Apparently the intruder was white, wearing a long robe and did not have any feet. Luckily we’ve instilled a strong disbelief in supernatural in our son but I’m secretly freaking out haha

I was going to ask did you die 😂😂

I’m hoping it’s been more than 3 weeks since they said it!

Glad I stumbled across this thread. My 3yo this evening started telling us a story about a 'very friendly ghost' who talks to her often. She was telling us various things about him, and when I asked his name, she said 'Keith'. We don't know any Keiths, I can't think of any Keiths in any children's books/tv shows and I have no idea how she would know the name Keith, so now I'm freaked out a little!

@Concernedfriend2023 could she have seen this book at nursery or pre school? It was a great favourite where I worked, and agree Keith is an unusual name for her to mention.

When my DS was 3 we were playing tea parties. He asked, does the little boy next to you want a cup of tea. I asked what little boy and he calmly said “ the one sitting next to you mummy ‘ and pointed. He’d never been one to make up imaginary people.:
I’d had a miscarriage 1 year before. I like to think that the boy was my unborn son.

My husband and I had been trying for our second child for almost a year when one day I was sat on the loo and my son ran in, shouted 'you've got a baby in your tummy,' and ran back out again. Found out a week later that I was pregnant with dd. He had no idea, obviously, that we were trying for a baby.

When my daughter was six weeks old, in the car driving home. From her came the words "I'm tired", as clear as anything. My mum and I both looked at each other in disbelief, but we agreed afterwards what we'd heard. Never happened again.

IHateLegDay · 11/12/2023 00:47

@DesperatePanda and @ilovepixie it's been about a year since she said it, thank god! 😂

My DS6 is going through the weird obsessed with death phase. The other night he asked me if we could die together so we're never apart. And then said he wanted us to be buried in a heart shaped coffin together. He's moved on from last year when he'd decided we were both going to donate our bodies to scientists to experiment on.
