Email to builder

Hello, I don't send many emails day to day and I certainly am no expert at anything to do with technology so if someone could give me a quick bit of advice I'd be very grateful.

I recently employed a builder who left the job unfinished and the work he has completed is a complete bodge. I foolishly paid him when the job was finished so please don't berate me. A lot of the problems have only come to light since then.

I decided last night that I would send him an email outlining the work that I feel is still required. I found an email he had previously sent me, pressed reply and sent my email. Then today whilst checking another one of his emails I noticed the email address was different to the one I had used last night. I'm thinking now that he might deny receiving my email so I'm thinking of also sending it to the alternative email address as well. Would I need to put anything in the actual body of the email like 'Duplicate email' or should I just send it to the 2nd email address as well, with no explanation.

I would just send the second email and would start it with, I have 2 email addresses for you so have sent this email to both.

Id also consider contacting trading standards if you don’t get a response.
