MN app making my phone really hot

Has anyone else noticed this? It becomes almost too hot to hold after about 10 mins.

I know there have been a couple of threads before but mine has only just started doing it.

Unless I've only just worked it out?

My phone is really hot too! Also the battery life!?

What phone do you have? I have a iPhone 14 Plus

iPhone? I notice the same and battery drain as well! Mine is an 11 Pro

Same here. I also googled and saw that it's happened in the past. Mine has only started doing it in the past week or so. But it gets so hot it feels dangerous

It's been reported to MNHQ numerous times & several threads on Site Stuff but they ignore the issue, broadly.

Yes, this has been happening to me as well. Also the Mumsnet app really drains my battery. (I don't have problems with any other apps.)

I haven't noticed the heat but my battery has drained excessively the last few days.

The app is shit. Mumsnet do not seem concerned about us being second class citizens.

I have an iPhone 11 and it gets very hot when I use the app and it sometimes crashes. Like everyone else, it's been an issue for around three weeks.

I agree about it feeling dangerous - my phone gets incredibly hot. Whatever's happening, it can't be doing it any good?

If you google it there has been threads on this for past few years it's not a new issue

I reckon it's related to the adverts. Works fine for a bit, then on some threads it's dead slow and heats up. I've not had it for a while now, but there were a couple of adverts that seemed to send my iPhone into a fit.

Happens to mine too. I think it's after the latest iOS update.

There's a thread in site stuff - MN have advised deleting the app and reinstalling
