How to make friends late 30s?

Feeling so lonely 😟

I’m making friends because I joined a knitting group. Have you hobbies or interests you could pursue in a group, if there are meetups near you?

Is there any groups you can join in your local area? I joined a netball team but first game... broke my arm 😬

I’m a bit older but I’ve made friends through volunteering at my local cat rescue, going to evening classes & women’s rights campaigning. Would any of those work for you?
