someone for letting down your jeans? A neighbour has done this for me and doesn't know what to charge.

How long did it take her? Minimum wage is £11ish an hour, so you need to pay that at the very least.

Not the same thing but I recently paid nearly £20 for shortening jeans 🙄South East and through a dry cleaning company. I need to learn how to sew!

Why did you pay someone to let down your jeans? Did she them them?

unless I was doing it for a business I wouldn't charge a neighbour to do it. Full set of curtains etc I'd charge them mates rates, but no, nothing for letting jeans down (?? Just unpicking stitching I can't understand why you didn't just do it yourself)

If you buy hemming web you can iron it on and do it yourself.

Lol at being asked to justify why I didn't do the sewing myself. I am shit at all things like this. I posted on a neighbourhood online platform and asked for help. A neighbour I don't know offered.

I give her £20 plus materials.
