Tesco whoosh delivery

Do they only pick items from your local Tesco express? Or do they go further afield for items not stocked at your local Tesco express. I've never had a whoosh delivery and I'm just wondering.

They are brilliant! The goods are from a local Tesco Express but not always the one nearest to you. The prices are not same as large Tescos.

I love it.

Just experienced my first Whoosh.

Made the order at 10:04. It arrived at 10:20.

How did they manage it? I live 3 miles from the nearest Tesco.

I find they do not always have the stock so you order and pay and then when you get the online receipt, it tells you the items they don’t have and adjusts the amount accordingly. Thing is, it doesn’t give you chance to order another version of the thing they haven’t got! Otherwise it’s brilliant!

If is from the local Tesco express as I have had to ring them occasionally about the order.

Hmmmm - I’ve tried it twice and ended up with someone else’s shopping both times. They use Uber drivers to fulfil the order. Not a fan.

We love it. They don't use our local Tesco but an express about 3 miles away. Always comes within half an hour and never had any problems.

WeWillGetThereInTheEnd · 28/09/2024 11:32

I use it occasionally. The last time, the goods didn't come from a Tesco Express nearby; they came from a small-medium store (can't remember its exact name in the Tesco universe) in a neighbouring town by Uber. So, there was more choice!

Also, the earliest "normal" delivery slot was tomorrow and cost £3 and the Whoosh slot was £2.99. A no brainer!
