16 year old DD contraception

Hi all. Looking for some advice for my 16 year old DD (also posted in women's health).
My lovely daughter had a very unplanned pregnancy in the summer which she decided to terminate. She and her boyfriend had used condoms and were not aware of any accidents/ split condoms. She also must have ovulated early as when she had the scan she was 6 days further along than calculated by her lmp.
She has tried several different types of the pill and the contraceptive patch which all gave her side effects such as nausea (she has emetophobia so feeling so sick caused her great anxiety) and mood swings (I can't tolerate hormonal contraception either). Today she has been to have the copper coil fitted today but the nurse was unable to do it as her womb isn't deep enough and it kept coming back out.
She is devastated. The nurse just advised her to try to have the coil fitted when she is older. She doesn't know what to try now, she is still experiencing trauma from the abortion and is terrified of getting pregnant again.
We would be grateful if anybody could give any helpful advice please. Thanks

Have you considered the implant, if she gets along with it 3 years without remembering to take pills is great
