I bought my grandson a Samsung tablet. He has special needs so I have it covered under accidental damage. The tablet got damaged /smashed. Daughter booked it in for a repair. And she got reply saying its not covered. When it is. I have included the reply incase I have got confused. Any advice on what i can do? Thanks

I can’t seem to zoom in and read the wording on your email but did you call the domestic and general team for their clarification?
I’ve not used that cover before so no experience but really hope they come through for you

I can’t read the email reply to you clearly on my small screen but hate things like this.
I imagine the wording used by your daughter is the issue. She maybe said “He has smashed it” and they don’t see this as ‘accidental’. You need to reply and let them know this was accidental and not on purpose and maybe even mention his special needs?

Can you post your email reply again?, can’t read it

Your first screenshot is not really very clear, but I think that it says that your device is not covered by the Samsung Warranty. This would be correct, but it should be covered by your insurance and it is that which you need to claim from.

Who are Likewize, have you contacted the correct people, sent your device to the right place?

I agree with @IamSmarticus - you're not after repair under warranty, it should be covered by the insurance.

Whose name is the insurance policy in? If yours , you might have more luck if you claimed.
