Here we go again!

OP posts:

And ordered the painting over of cartoons in a children’s immigration centre. Truly a nasty man.

TooBigForMyBoots · 06/12/2023 22:40

Good riddance to Jenrick, Tory minister for petty minded, state funded cruelty to children.

Made a mistake. Not really the end of the world…..

Too busy doing something else to ‘check facts’ and also not legally obliged.

This lazy attitude is how misinformation starts and continues to be spread.

I don't work for them but I do subscribe to (and absolutely love) a magazine called delayed gratification whose tagline is "last to breaking news". They wait till all the dust has settled, then report on things, a minimum of three months after they happen! Presumably to avoid this kind of situation 😂

Is the OP coming back?

Still, give it time.

You might want to come back to this thread in a month or 2

Ha! So true 😂

Delighted Jenrick is resigning because Sunak makes one decent decision not to leave the ECHR. Good riddance to any politicians who want to erode our human rights protections. I'm not sure Cleverly is in the same wing of the Tory party but I'm sure there'll be reason enough for him to resign soon.

MeinKraft · 06/12/2023 22:57

Ah I got excited then.

MissyB1 · 07/12/2023 09:14

Always interesting to watch this shitshow of a Government self imploding.

Robert Jenrick leaving is a good thing. Nasty man and one who has allegedly been corrupt in planning matters.

He and another (maybe Christopher Chope) got round some regulations over a fund for the 100 poorest towns in the country. The pair are from wealthy districts, which weren't entitled to access the fund, but they simply signed authorisations for one another's constituencies.

None of them do anything cleverly.
