Calling folk with more than one Alexa (echo dot) in the house ... i have a question

Can you have both of them adding to the same shopping list, but only one of them (the original) sounding your usual alarms and reminders?

In other words, if they are paired for the shopping list does it mean they'll both (all?) shout at the same time for reminders?

Shopping list is stored and can be accessed from any Alexa registered to you. (Including your phone if you have the app on). Any alarm, or reminder will only sound on the device you chose. So if you just say 'reminder in 10 minutes' you will get reminded on the device you speak to. You can say 'Set reminder on 'bedroom' or whatever you have called a different device and that is where it will play.

Our living room one yells out all my reminders plus takes shopping list (yes on phone as well) but i want one on the other side of the house for music and shopping list - but not all the reminders.
