Has anyone else had this text and got their outcome?

About your PIP review. The health professional has sent us their report.
We will make a decision on your PIP, but it may take 6 weeks before you hear from us.
You will continue to get PIP while your award is being reviewed.
You only need to contact us if your circumstances change.

I got a text off the independent assessment services a while back saying they were revieweing my renewal, and now I've got this message and I've not been called for assessment!

Am now cacking it tbh. The whole process has got my anxiety on the rise as I use my PIP for my car on motability, along with other stuff to live my life day to day with my injury.

Looking for opinions or anyone that can give me insight as to which way this may be heading! Thank you!!

Did they send you a PIP review form to complete and return? Assume you did that.

Apparently if it's a review they don't always do an assessment, but they can contact your GP to ask for info, so they must have done that. Have you contacted your GP surgery to ask? You can ask for a copy of the info they sent to PIP.

Help with your PIP review form

What to do if you receive a 'Making sure your award is right' PIP review form (sometimes called an AR1 or PIP.1043 form).

@AnotherEmma I will check with my GP, thank you!

I remember you've always been very helpful with benefits over the years and we had babies at the same time if I recall correctly (2016). Thank you for the link!

You're welcome! Smile

I was pregnant with my first in the second half of 2016 - born in early 2017. They grow so fast don't they?! 😭

Why not just contact the PIP enquiry line on 08001214433 and ask them to clarify the status of your claim?
