Advice re scrapping car! Urgent

Dd1's car has been declared unrepairable at mot. Currently at garage. How do we offload it? It needs to go for scrap.

Often garages have contacts, if not you just find a scrap person online and arrange for the car to be picked up, they'll come with a trailer and then fill out the scrap part of the owners form.

Google scrapyards in your area and ask if they can come and collect, the garage may charge you a storage fee if it’s there a while though, so ask they collect asap.

Try selling to webuyanycar or similar

I don't think webuy will be interested in 13 year old mot failure

You'd be surprised. Someone who can repair it for free or low cost would be interested.

Sell on ebay or marketplace as spare or repair.

This is what I did with mine in the same situation.

Cartakeback will give proper scrap value

I drove my last banger to the scrap yard and got £110 when I weighed it in (back in 2017)
