Looking for some inspiration or tips please! We're looking to get my DMIL a break away with the family for Christmas. We're looking at April/may time Friday - Sunday/Monday. There will be ten people including my 5 year old and then 16 month old. DMIL is not in a wheelchair but needs a walk in shower and preferably a bedroom downstairs. Ideally no more than 2/2.5 hours from Glasgow. The budget is probably around the £1200 mark. Has anyone stayed anywhere that meets these (many!) Criteria? X

For that budget you won’t even be able to rent a house for everyone or do you mean £1200 pp?

I did a quick look on Airbnb and found lots of places in the lake District well within your budget and with rooms for 10+ people. You can filter by your requirements on there..

£1200 pp! Shes not looking for a villa in Cannes.

I think you might struggle to get something for that many people on that budget. Have you considered Center Parcs? You’d have to split into separate lodges but they do have adapted lodges with walk in showers and downstairs bedrooms.

Thanks everyone
Yeah £1200 for the group. Could probably push up to £1500. Will try air BnB again. As soon as I filtered there was very little left. Hadn't considered centre parcs but that could be a shout 🤔
