Are Ooni's worth the hype?

Been thinking about getting DH an Ooni for Christmas but they're not cheap.

Are they worth the hype?
And if so - does anyone have a discount code?

We love ours! We bought it as a joint Xmas present for ourselves a few years ago, as like you say they aren't cheap. We got a grizzle pan this summer which is fab, cooked steak and prawns on it!
Can't compare to the cheaper options as haven't tried, but I think in the long run it'll be worth the money, the kids love pizza too

Absolutely worth it, we have had ours for 2 years and not bought a takeaway pizza since

We got one this summer. DH likes cooking so although it’s a bit of a faff he takes pride in doing it and the pizzas are amazing. Seriously better than in any restaurant. He makes his own sauce.

I got it because we’d found ourselves getting takeaway pizza twice a month since Covid, so the ooni isn’t far off paying for itself. I’d say we use the ooni nearly every week, not the last couple of weeks though 🥶We don’t eat meat so I saw it as an alternative to having a barbecue.

They're faffy and you can't feed everyone in one go. If it's just the two of you fine.

Yes! Ours is used regularly. It takes some practice to get a good base, but very much worth it.

Had an Ooni for four years. Makes super-duper pizzas. Ours is wood fired and it takes a bit of practice to ensure the heat is at a constant high temperature by keeping the fuel topped up. But we've enjoyed some lovely summer evenings in the back garden with some top pizzas, a glass or two of rose or a cold beer....

We love ours. Takes a little practice but the pizza is delicious. Can be used for other things as well.
Would recommend.

We share one with our next door neighbour. It’s a good arrangement and it makes great pizza. We never buy takeaway pizza now.

I love mine. Wish I loved standing out in the dark and cold using it tho... Next bright sunny weekend day I'm doing pizza lunch! Go for it, it's a lot of fun and makes great pizza
