Does anyone know of a holiday park with enough to do onsite in January?

Kids are 8 and 11 so looking for enough indoor stuff suitable for them.

Aren’t most closed? Center Parcs, maybe: lots of stuff inside.

CalistoNoSolo · 05/12/2023 11:05

I would imagine in most tourist areas everything will be closed.

Center Parcs came to my mind too. Most other places are either fully or partially closed. We had a winter break 2 years ago, at a Parkdean site in Cornwall. The lodges were open for booking, but no on site facilities at all, not even the shop. It was peaceful and lovely. The DC just enjoyed walks and going out. We went to Eden Project, had long beach walks.

Yes, lots closed which is why I'm struggling. It's for a family birthday so can't change dates.

We do Butlins every June for 3 nights and our 10 yr old always enjoys herself. Lots to do, and easy to fill a day. So busy that I wouldn't want to do a full week though.

This year we've had a change of family plans so are going over Xmas for 4 nights. Although outside will be dependent on the weather we always know there's lots going on inside.

There is unlikely to be much for school aged children as term time. Depends what you are looking for entertainment wise and how long for. I think most open at weekends

I took Dts to butlins just before Christmas last year and they loved it. Stay in the hotel though.

Most holiday parks will be closed.

It was just for a weekend stay.
