What would your pet be like...

...If they got changed into a human?

My dog would be an early 20s male. Cute (I see him as looking like a petite version of Bobby from Strictly), sporty, and brighter than he lets on, he loves nothing more kicking a ball round the park and then going for a pint with his mates (my dog genuinely loves a pub).

Despite being a bit loud and a tad over-protective ("Mum, mum! A dog walked past our house! I know, right? The cheek! But don't worry, I shouted at it till it went away), he's too sweet and affectionate not to love.

The cat, though....the cat would be a right bastard. A big, handsome ginger brute in his mid-40s, he'd lure you in by seeming charming and loving, then suddenly turn vicious and mean without warning. I'd have to throw him out of the house - but then he'd just lurk in the garden, glaring at me through the window and shouting to be let back in.

How about yours? 😆

Dog 1 would be a squat sporty little man with a buzz cut in his 40s, probably a prepper, quick temper, always ready for action and a good laugh.
Dog 2 would be a scary 30 year old man with a police record, ex child in care, very bright, no confidence, no independent social skills whatsoever but, inside, just a huge softie wanting to be loved and happy with very little.
Dog 3 would be the scion of landed gentry, tall, handsome, confident, a little entitled, very impressive in his own right, fun and a charmer with his loved one, suspicious of outsiders.

I'm struggling to imagine 3 such different characters sharing a house - sounds like the plot of a sitcom!

My dog would be a grumpy messy teenager with way too much attitude.

Ha, ha, not as detailed as yours, OP but:
Dog 1 - she's a lady who lunches, doesn't work, just socialises. Think cucumber sandwiches and looking down your nose at everyone.
Dog 2 - a night club bouncer. 'If your name's not on the list, you're not coming in.'
Both German Shepherds.

My cat (11 years old) would be a sweary old lady. All sweetness and light to look at,but the second you cross her,the foul language would start. Suffice to say,my cat is a feisty old baggage. But I love her dearly.

Mine are basically Wednesday and Pugsley Addams, if Wednesday was the size of Lurch.

My cat would be a woman of mystery, vanishing into the night to return only went it suits her, a vamp who makes up to the men only to spurn them when they get too close. She'd also be a chubby middle aged lady who loves her food, watches the TV for hours and gazes at you sweetly. If I didn't know better I'd swear she had a twin 😂

Cat. Six year old Karen from Outnumbered.

TotallyKerplunked · 04/12/2023 18:48

Dog - a fussy old lady who demands everyone behaves how she wants and then complains loudly about the weather.
Dcat1 - a very needy boyfriend who wants to do everything together.
Dcat2 - that friend who only contacts you when they want something and then ghosts you afterwards.
Dcat3 - a retired handyman, too old to do the work themselves but following you everywhere and pointing out how you're doing everything wrong.

Dog would be in his mid to late 30s, tall, blond and well built. Not a great sense of humour, and is wary of people until he gets to know them. Once he's accepted you he's a good friend, loyal and protective. He likes his routines, likes to keep busy, and is a bit of a homebody.

vernatheraven · 04/12/2023 19:20

Two chihuahuas.

One is Sam Thompson. Constantly wanting to play and arse round.

The other is more reserved and sensible and protective of his brother. He would be Albus dumbledore. Kind and gentle but you wouldn't fuck with him.

PinkflowersWhiteBerries · 04/12/2023 19:25

Male dog would be mid-80s version of George Clooney. Handsome, urbane, attractive to all, with a penchant for coffee shops.

Female dog would be current day Naomi Campbell. Still a stunner, beautiful body, lots of attitude. All the while aging into a very regal Princess Margaret. Quite the Princess.

My collie cross dog would be Walker from Dad's army. Bit rakish, charming, definitely dodgy.
The cockerpoo would be Mrs Brittas. Blonde, harassed and nervy.

Showing my age with TV references there...

My dog is Maria Carey in a hairy coat.... total diva Grin
Given to high level dramatics, extremely choosey about her entourage, and given to hitting the high notes if you appoach with nail clippers !!

My cat is straight out of Peaky Blinders....
