Most:
Saturday mornings. Crack of dawn. Knowing I have the weekend to myself or with cherished loved ones full of lots of walking, fresh air, nice food, a couple of films and prosecco.

Least:
Monday mornings. Absolutely hate them. The drudgery of going back to work and knowing the next weekend is fucking light years away.

Complete opposite to you. I have 3 boys.
On Saturday morning I pray not to have a mental breakdown. On Monday morning when I have dropped everyone at school I'm relieved and happy.

Floofydawg · 03/12/2023 22:44

Most: Thursday evenings. I don't work Fridays so I have the weekend stretching ahead of me.
Least: Monday mornings. Obvs

Oooh I love a Thursday evening too, I don't work Fridays! But I also love Saturday mornings, Sunday mornings and Sunday evenings! 🤣

Tuesdays are a bit meh

Malarandras · 03/12/2023 23:14

The best time is Friday when work is finished as it’s the start of the weekend. The worst time is Monday morning, no explanation needed!

catlovingdoctor · 03/12/2023 23:16

I think Monday evening is the worst for me because you're knackered from the first day back and you have another four to go!
Best is definitely Friday evening for me whether I am out or not.

LuluBlakey1 · 03/12/2023 23:20

I like Monday morning when the DC are all at school for the next 5 days. I like Wednesday afternoon when I finish work because on Thursday I work from home - going out into schools for visits and on Fridays I work at home on my week's paperwork and I have the house to myself completely for 8 hours.

AutumnNanny · 03/12/2023 23:21

Best. Friday Night. Finish work & very deep sigh of relief the responsibility isn't mine for a couple of days.

Tuesday morning. Monday isn't usually too bad, but Tuesday I'm already tired again with 4 early morning starts still to do!

Ejismyf · 03/12/2023 23:23

Most - Friday at 4pm when I finish work.

Least - Sunday at bedtime when I'm stressing about the working week ahead.

PermanentTemporary · 03/12/2023 23:23

Best: Thursday night when dp comes over and will be with me all weekend.

Worst: I'm going to say Tuesday evening when I'm already shattered and the week isn't even halfway over.

Itsjeremycorbynsfault · 03/12/2023 23:23

Saturday evenings are my favourite as I know I don't have to set an alarm to get up the next day. Then Sunday mornings when I wake up knowing that there is generally no work !

Thursdays and Fridays are my least favourite as they are my busiest and most stressy for work !

shreddednips · 03/12/2023 23:29

Thursday evening is a lovely feeling because on Friday my little boy doesn't go to the childminder and I have my day off work, so I get him all to myself. And then Friday is brilliant. Don't have any days I really don't like but Thursday morning always feels a bit stressy trying to get everything done before the working week ends.

What I hate is any weekend day when I haven't managed to get everything done, I'm a freelancer and it's very easy to let work bleed into family time. I normally manage to keep things separate but I hate having to try and work with DS in the house.

Beezknees · 04/12/2023 06:13

Favourite time is Friday at 4.30 when I finish work for the weekend. I work from home on Fridays.

Least favourite time is Monday night. I go into the office on Mondays and traffic is always horrendous on the way home, so I get back late and then have to sort dinner and everything.

ThreeRingCircus · 04/12/2023 07:27

Friday evenings once DDs are in bed are my favourite. Work done, children tucked up safely, house quiet, the whole weekend ahead. DH and I normally put on some music, have a G&T and catch up about the week.

Tuesday evenings are my least favourite as I have to take DD1 to an activity and sit for an hour in the car with DD2 waiting for it to finish as it's too far to be worth coming home. Plus on Wednesdays I work at a different site so have a much longer commute so I'm always dreading that.

grayhairdontcare · 04/12/2023 07:38

Friday morning because I'm just so tired by then.

Friday evening because I've then got two days rest

SpringIntoChaos · 04/12/2023 07:40

Worst: Sunday evening/Monday/Thursday. I'm a teacher and I get 'the Sunday dread' which stops me sleeping and makes my heart race. Monday is just awful...my most challenging children have always taken '3 steps backwards' and almost all of my class are emotional and tired (absolutely not their fault of course, but it's hard). Thursday, because I'm beyond exhausted by this point but still have another day to get through.

Don't get me wrong...I LOVE my children and do my very best for them every day. It's just so exhausting being a teacher in 2023.

Best: Saturday morning...I always have a few hours to recharge before I get my laptop out in the afternoon.

Upside? I'm nearly 60 and planning to go part time next year. 30 years in teaching, and it has changed beyond all recognition to what it was when I started. I feel for anyone early in their career in education...it's going to be a loooong ride!

ManAboutTown · 04/12/2023 07:50

Friday afternoon for me - weekend to look forward to

Worst time - Sunday evening - that whole week looming

Theoldwoman · 04/12/2023 08:14

Anytime that is bedtime is my favourite. That might be for a nap or for the night. I love my bed and sleep!

Worst is Monday morning at 3:30am when I drop my DH off at the airport. 🥲

Jellycatspyjamas · 04/12/2023 08:36

Favourite is Wednesday evenings, the kids are with their dad and I have no work so can completely relax and suit myself. Least favourite is Tuesday because it’s a long work day for me and I’m knackered by the time I finish around 9.30pm. I love the work but long days aren’t as easy as they were when I was younger.

dontforgettithespaghetti · 05/12/2023 06:34

Worst are Thursday evenings. Running round after school finding various parts of football kit and cubs uniforms and getting everyone fed, ready and where they need to be in time. Then lots of sitting around in the car waiting for activities to finish. Everyone's tired, me and DH eat late and I don't get chance for a hot bath.
Best are Friday evenings. A film, sometimes a takeaway and a couple of glasses of red wine knowing I don't have to get up in the morning. I especially love it this time of year with the candles lit or the tree lights glowing.

Riapia · 05/12/2023 06:50

Friday night is my delight,
also Saturday morning.
Sunday noon comes too soon.
Fuck off Monday morning.

teenysaladandsniffofarose · 05/12/2023 07:25

Sunday afternoon is my favourite, getting home from a walk, putting on a movie and cooking a roast.

Least favourite is proper the cliche monday morning.
