I love a bolognaise pasta bake. A really rich, slow cooked ragu mixed up with pasta (rigatoni is my favourite) then smothered in cheese and baked/grilled. Yum.

I love a pasta bake. DS really doesn't like bechamel or lots of melted cheese (a sprinkle is tolerable) any thoughts of cheese/white sauce free bakes. I have spent a lot of time on Google

Broccoli, salmon and pasta. Delicious!

I use rice wine which i think adds an extra tang

I still make the tuna pasta bake from the Annabel Karmel weaning book for the whole family. I add some chilli (not much), salt and pepper, and parsley.

Does anyone have one that doesn’t involve any cheese or white sauce?

I don't know if it counts as a pasta bake but cherry tomatoes roasted in oven. Add a Boursin part way through and then stir into cooked pasta.

My favourite traditional pasta bake is this one from a Gousto recipe. The mozzarella is delicious.

My absolute favourite baked pasta recipe is this cauliflower, caramelised onion and mustard orzo. It's rich and creamy, the onions give it sweetness, and the mustard and lemon cut through it all. It's such a well balanced recipe and is perfect winter comfort food.

Sausages, cooked and chopped into bits. Tomatoey vegetable sauce of your choice. Mozzarella. Mix with pasta. Top with cheese, bake.

Chicken fried off, peppers and onions. Tomatoey sauce. Put into the base of a dish. Top with rigatoni mixed with crème fraîche, pepper and grana padano. Top with more grana padano. Bake.

I’ve not made either of these yet but for next Saturday I have dh’s family coming for pre Christmas board games and pizza/pasta/wine night, I’m going to make a Brie, bacon and cranberry pasta bake and a butternut and orzo ‘risotto’ with Stilton.
