Private school (long) holidays - what do you do (Surrey/SW London)

We moved DD to a private prep this year (Y1) so this is our first experience with long holidays. She breaks this coming Friday. So she'll have just over 4 weeks off and she's dreading it already as she loves her school and the social aspect if it.

We are away from 24th to 29th, other than that no plans what do you do with your kids? Any recommendations if you live in Surrey/London (the SW I'm particular)?

Does the school run a holiday club? She'd get to see some of her friends and they are usually fun!

No, her school doesn't run a holiday club in the winter, just Easter and summer holidays :(.

She's got 4 friends from her old school but they won't break until 21st and 22nd.

Ask around other school parents, see what holiday clubs they recommend. There’ll be other private schools running clubs that start earlier than the state school ones.

Painshill Park, Kew Gardens Lights, afternoon panto, theatre, ballet. Trip to Covent Garden.
Winter Wonderland if you could bear it.
Ice skating. Lots of festive rinks around.

Do you mean in terms of holiday childcare, or in terms of entertainment? Do you both work?
