If you were a car key where would you be?

We've checked all the obvious places. It's not in the key bowl, any drawers, bags, coat pockets, trouser pockets, on any worktops, under sofa cushions, in the car. We do have a 1 year old but we've checked everywhere we can think that he could have put it!

In the kitchen bin ? I mislaid my house keys once .. I had accidentally scooped them up with the plastic that wraps around a bunch of flowers I bought and laid out on the kitchen counter.

I retraced my steps and thought .. “ surely they can’t be in the bin ?!” … yes! there they were .. underneath my dinner prep scraps too ! Gross 😅 - hope your find them soon 🍀

I had a one year old put mine on the seat of a kitchen chair that was tucked under the kitchen table.

Inside a toy with a lid? Teapot/toy handbag etc?

Down the loo...

In the car? I've done that before now! Some cars even lock themselves with the key inside which is beyond stupid.

Down the side of your bed? The sofa cushions?

In one of your shoes (toddler again!)

Not relevant to this moment in time, but we now have a key hook near the door. Saves a whole lot of hassle!
