How did you know you were falling in love?

Just curious to know how you could tell that you were getting feelings for someone or falling in love with them and how long it took or how many dates?
I've been seeing someone for just a couple of weeks and already see it going that way.

I think it was after a couple of weeks for me too. I realised I liked being around him rather than not. With other people I dated, I liked them in small doses. I liked seeing them but liked my own space more, but with my now husband I wanted him around all the time.

Getting excited to see them.
Thinking about the things they have said over and over
Chemistry.
Strong feelings of affection etc

Sentimental song lyrics suddenly just make sense.

For me personally....

I really looked forward to / liked spending time with him.

We laughed. A lot.

It was easy. Even though we both had a lot on it was easy to find time to meet 2/3 times a week.

I never really felt nervous butterflies /sick or unsure because he always demonstrated he was consistent.

It was a calm and quiet. No drama,no intense passion /limerence just really really nice "life is good" type feelings.

I thought he was one of the most interesting people I had ever met.

Within 4 months or so I was pretty sure we'd marry unless something weird happened.
