Hand cream reccomendations

Never used any lotions / creams etc other than the odd body butter ( when been gifted it) as luckily never had dry skin. Until now. My hands on the top are just a bit dry / ageing looking.
Want a hand cream that's not oily or thick. Ideally from a supermarket as not going to the city this side of xmas.

Aveeno works best for me, or if my hands not too bad then Body Shop coconut. (Body Shop hemp is great for hands but personally I can’t stand the smell!)

I second that. I’ve tried loads of creams and Aveeno is by far the best.

I have chronic, acutely dry skin on my hands. So bad that I have to use hand cream after every single time I touch water(!), so I use a lot of it! As a result hand cream really is my jam. I've tried them alllllll.
My favourite is L'Occitane Shea Butter! (It's the bees' knees) Body Shop's Hemp hand cream, Marks & Spencer's Hand Balm with Shea Butter & Honey in the bright orange tube, then after that it's good old fashioned Nivea in the big, dark blue tin. It's intended as a body cream but doubles as a wonderful hand cream.

If it needs to be from a supermarket and they don't have the round blue Nivea tin then Vaseline hand cream is a safe bet

O'keeffes working hands if it's a supermarket trip you're doing. It's the dog's. Also like the l'occitaine shea one and the Clarins one.

This is my go to supermarket hand cream. I work in hospitality and have 3 dc, so hands always in water and suffer with ‘winter hands’ this garnier hand repair works brilliantly.

Garnier hand repair (red tube). It's an essential to me nowadays. I've always had very dry hands that crack easily. If I try use anything else, without a few days my hands are all dry and split again. It's magic stuff.

I use the Norwegian formula for my hands and their foot cream for my feet. It's good.

Palmer's Cocoa Butter handcream is great and available in most supermarkets.

Aveeno is good, but the absolutely best I’ve found is Kiehl’s hand salve:

You can get it online from Boots or John Lewis. Expensive but so good. DP gets terrible eczema on his hands in cold weather and this is the only thing that helps.

Anything with shea butter.

aveeno is great but Boots have their own brand which is equally brilliant. M&S also have a great range.
