Did a stupid thing last night and got drunk to the point of near passing out. Sobered up, have eaten and drank but then tonight had a horrendous panic attack - our kf the blue. I’ve had them before but I’ve been on meds a long time and they’ve stopped pretty much.

Horrible feeling that you’re dying accompanied by sweating; hot flush, heart racing/skipping and can’t breathe, hear or speak. i get about a 30 second aura each time but this one I didn’t get anything.

NHS24 have said it’s just panic and deep breaths and sleep it off. I’ve had a lot of cardiac tests due to family history; they’ve always said it’s anxiety. Had 3 day monitor jn September and an echo 4 weeks ago. All fine.

will I be OK just to go to sleep? Still really panicked.

Beer fear/ hangxiety.
The main reason I never have more than 3 drinks in an evening any more. The terror is not worth it
Last time I accidentally slipped up and drank a bottle of wine my heart rate went up to 160 briefly during my waves of fear comedown.

How old are you? It really started for me at about 35/36.
