Carlos big cookie past use by

Im no good at knowing what's good to eat after use by but wanted to run this past people that might know.
We have Aldi's Carlos big cookie as part of the takeaway section, son just asked if we can have it but the use by date is 28th Nov.
Would we be killing ourselves by eating this?

Or less dramatic would we become ill?

I wouldn't eat it if it was meat but not so sure with this?

I'd eat it. It's like the five second rule - if you want it enough you'll eat it well out of date!

More seriously it's likely to have had dairy products in it meaning it needs a date on it, but I also use milk and butter past their best before.

I'm assuming it's just a cookie? In which case it will be fine most likley just to go a bit soft and be unappealing!
