Bucolic birthday weekend away (August)

My sis has a big birthday next year and I want to take her away. She has a stressful life and likes things where she can really chill out. Could be the Uk or Europe. Has to be August.

Where would you take her?!

The Dordogne - rent somewhere with a pool, trundle round gorgeous chateaux, visit lovely towns, indulge in the fab food and drink

Thank you! We haven’t been to rural France since we were kids actually so that’s quite nice in itself
