🎄 Christmas tree - can you spray it with permethrin/Indorex!?

So, on the spray can that you can use inside it says keep away from aquatics and plants. Can I spray my Christmas tree with it or will it kill it? This year after too much reading I have decided it’s going to come with bugs and ticks. Still want a real one though!

Why is it going to come with ticks and bugs. Never had so much as a spider crawl out of mine.

In 63 years of real Christmas trees I have never seen or caught a bug from one . Is this something new ?

I've never had bugs in my Christmas trees. Always get a real one.

What do you know that we don't ?

rileynexttime · 02/12/2023 15:53

But the type of bugs that Indorex treats are ones that feed on living animals. They wouldn't survive or exist on plants or Christmas trees.

I don’t know where this new found fear has come from. I think from a likely American site! Once in my head google didn’t help. Completely irrational I know

Some Christmas trees carry bed bugs, you have to be careful.

NeverDropYourMooncup · 02/12/2023 16:11

There's a simpler solution than spraying it with poison in a flammable form to be kept next to sources of ignition.
