Can anyone identify this TV programme?

It just popped into my head today, and it feels like a long shot, but I'd love to know what it was.

Here's what I remember:

1. It was British - I think perhaps ITV, but could have been BBC/C4
2. Probably 1990s, maybe very early 2000s
3. Might have been the first episode of some sort of anthology series

The plot concerned a group of strangers who found themselves on an island somewhere (it's not LOST), maybe after a plane crash or shipwreck.
They had to work together to survive, but it ended up in divisions and violence (I think).

The bit I remember most clearly is some of them deciding to rename themselves in their new society and one man choosing the name Clint for himself. I think he was a sort of wannabe survivalist type.

Any ideas???

I think it’s a film called Self Catering from the 90s. The stranded people name themselves after their favourite film characters with one becoming Clint.

Found this synopsis (a "hairy-armpit feminist" is one character 😅) and it was a sort of anthology, so I did remember that right. Kind of want to watch it now

Never heard of that, but it looks right up my street. I wonder if it'll turn up on ITVX at some point.

There must be a chance. The lead role was played by a young Nicola Walker.
