At this time of year we are besieged with images of glamorous women, draped over multi-cushioned immaculate beds in cashmere 'lounge trousers ' , perfectly coiffed, surrounded by armfuls of immaculate, smiling children, a tasteful decorated tree in blurry background. The reality in my house?

I just fell out of bed and realised that yesterdays makeup is all down my face, giving me that 'Alice cooper' vibe. My toe is sticking out of my holey bed socks (it was cold last night). My 'lounge wear' comprises
Holey grey woollen leggings which are so much darned that they are more hole than legging at this point
A striped kids PJ top in black and white hoops that adds to the Alice cooper vibe, and brings a jaunty 'cartoon burgular' angle.

All topped off with hair that really should have been washed yesterday and is now sticking up in an alarming 1980s recreation.
I just got up to make coffee and topped it all off with a beige cardi that I now realise has a stain on the front and that the cuffs are looking somewhat grubby too.

A glorious, glamorous sight, and no wonder DH can't keep his hands off me 😬😂

Who wants to,join my alternative to the White Company perfection look and share your glam 'lounge wear' of the moment MNers?

DS2's old Calvin Klein jim jam bottoms, as he never wears any, topped with primark fluffy socks, Crocs and an elderly long sleeved baseball style top... and under my heated blanket.
I may add my elderly dressing gown later Grin

It's saturday, I'm home alone, currently, and I'm comfy and warm...
Spent the day in London looking like a hotwater tank on the move in my Uniqlo long duvet coat and jeans and was still bloody freezing!

@uninterestingusernamealert I've got some of those from piglet at home. Not cheap but look awful. All bobbly and old looking after the first few wears. And baggy in the arse. Fits my dishevelled look quite well though 😂

Oh yes mine are baggy on the arse and the excess length on the body of them looks all pouchy around my tummy. Waistband is reminiscent of Simon Cowell in his hey day. I'm not a waif by any means but they are very unflattering.

Soooo warm though Grin
