Alternative use for Christmas tree lights

Looking for some creative ideas from all creative ladies out there. This year we are not doing big real Christmas tree. Will just use our old small plastic one. So big Christmas tree decorations are not needed. However, i would love to make use of lights (classic long string with small lights that have few modes). The only way i could think of is using it to decorate kitchen window (it faces the street). We have shutters but there's a decent space between shutters and teh window. I also have some nice snowflakes that I could incorporate or just use baubles for that too.

what would you do with it? or how you could make my idea work better? any ideas welcome :)

They can look good in a glass jar or vase.

Depending on your stairs around the bannister? If you have stairs.

We don't have a tree but we do put lights up during the winter. Do you have a garden with a tree or a bush you can put them in? Over a doorframe or window if they don't get in the way of blinds or curtains. Around a mirror or over the mantle piece. Some smaller battery ones around an indoor plants.

Thank you 🌺 lots of good ideas! We do have a book case in the living room! No fireplace unfortunately. Staircase is a good idea but have a separate decoration for it already. Glass ball is a good idea too. As I have lots of different baubles

I always wanted to put some lights outside but I'm afraid given they are indoor lights that they will get ruined outside. And don't really want to buy any outdoor lights. Hence was thinking putting someone in the window rather than taking lights outside
