WARM school trousers?

Anyone got a thick/warm/lined pair of school trousers (not joggers) and can share the shop please? All the ones I can find are tissue paper thin and DS7 gets cold!

My DC wears inner trousers, basically long johns.

Have you tried tights / thermal leggings under the trousers?

FallingAutumnLeaf · 02/12/2023 09:46

Sports skins underneath (they are the modern, fashionable, version of thermal long johns)

Ds 6 wears these big thick socks that go up to his knees. Highly recommend

Thank you! I've been resisting thermals because it feels like Another Thing to wash/lose/nag him to wear. But sounds like I need to bite the bullet!!
(Sports skins is definitely the way to sell it to DS so thanks @FallingAutumnLeaf for that suggestion)

Uniqlo do warm lined trousers in adult sizes but not children’s, annoyingly. My dds wore their heat tech thermal leggings under trousers in the Winter, or Polarn O Pyret wool thermal leggings, v cosy.
