Dark Chocolate Bounty

Hi everyone! My mum is a huge fan of the dark chocolate bounty. Unfortunately they were discontinued (over a year ago officially). I have followed peoples' suggestions and tried to find one at a local shop or service station, but there aren't many nearby and all my searching so far has been unsuccessful. I wanted to ask if anybody has managed to find any for sale, and if not, whether you have any good recommendations for alternatives. A single bar would make for a very happy Christmas!

How far did you get, its taken me to the payment page. Obviously I dont want to buy them! I will eat them!

My local B&M still had them very recently if that's worth a look? Heron also stocked them, they're quite good for having the last of discontinued stuff.

It won't let you make payment. So you're safe but it means none of us can get our hands on those dark Bountys 😓

I made my own homemade bounty @EveryKneeShallBow the recipe made loads of little ones!
I ate them all in a couple of days

Do you have to use fresh grated or could you use desiccated.

Sorry, I’ve never made them, just googled, but I think since it’s desiccated coconut plus condensed milk it would be fine.

Me and my kitchen were covered in chocolate but it was worth it.

My dad loves dark chocolate bounties and has finally finished the pack of 24 expired ones I bought for him last Christmas so I'm hoping these will be a decent replacement.

I added more coconut as the mixture was a bit too sweet for me, and you really do have to keep them in the freezer and do the chocolate dipping in stages or they fall apart.

They are lush though. I gave the nice looking ones to my dad and kept the dodgy looking ones here. I'm trying to resist the urge to eat them all for breakfast.
