Hey. I’m not cool enough for the style and beauty forum… but need some
recommendations for decent hard wearing shoes for the winter. I will be going in and out of patient houses in all weathers- mostly cold and wet as live in Scotland…
Anyone have any ideal pairs they’d recommend? I currently wear Clark’s Unloops which are a nursing staple, but don’t have a decent tread for the icy/ frosty weather sadly.
thank you ☺️

Have a look at Fitflop. They do boots and trainers, some with good grip.

Kickers? My son had got some and they have slipped under the school uniform police's radar

Skechers
I bought these and they're so comfy. Very light, memory foam sole and they have actual suede on top to prevent my big toes from poking through the mesh after 5 mins.
I was surprised how small they made my (size 8) feet look despite them looking quite chunky on the website.
I imagine they'll be decent in wet weather conditions but probably not completely waterproof.

These look great and you’ve reminded me I had a very comfy pair of sketchers when I was doing my nursing training… so I will have a look. Thank you.
