Christmas songs you sang at school (Nativity/Carol concert bangers)

I was at primary school in the 80s/early 90s and the Apuskidusky thread has been bringing back some memories of songs we sang.

In particular I have been recalling Christmas songs we sang in our school nativity plays and Carol concerts. I recall As Joseph was a Walking, Wind Through The Olive Trees Softly Did Blow, and the Inkeeper song (Rat-A-Tat-Tat, Rat-A-Tat-Tat, No! No! No! There isn't any room).

Which Nativity Play/Carol concert bangers do you recall?

Imagine if you can,
a far and distant land,
covered in sand,
covered in sand.
This is where our story began..

sing a song for a baby,
sing a lullaby,
sing a song for a baby,
tropic breezes sigh.

Little donkey was the first one I thought of too!
Oh holy night (always makes me cry!).
Silver bells
Walking in a winter wonderland
Adeste Fideles - it's been over 30 years and I still remember all the harmonies and have to stop myself singing them when I'm at carol concerts.

Little donkey! Mid 80’s. I had it on a tape and listened to it all the time to make sure I knew all the words for the play. Another one was Three kings. It went three kings long ago made a journey so slow to see a baby boy..
There was a really high bit in it that I struggled with. Anyway I was so invested in that play, I was only about 7. Then it was cancelled for some reason, devastated!

We must have loved these songs to remember the words!
When I was at secondary school in the early 70’s I was in the choir and we sang Brittens Ceremony of Carols. Over 50 years later we are singing it tonight at my choirs Christmas concert. I can remember every single word!
