Pretend you are a multi-pack of polo's...

One of you has been eaten...where the fuck are the rest of you hiding?

I bought them at B&M on Sunday for my pocket at work. Took one packet out & left on table with work ID, took it to work on Monday. Have eaten all of them now & went to get a second packet out on Weds.

Except, I have no idea which incredibly safe place they are in.

They are not in

My handbag
Cupboard where sweets/crisps live
Shit drawer - kitchen
My shit drawer - living room
Underwear drawer
Stash drawer upstairs
My crafty things down the side of my chair
The new Christmas decorations bought on Sunday

I am baffled! I remember standing with them in my hand..."I'm going to put them...blank space here...so I don't lose them".

That went so well 🙄🤣

@minou123 at home, just after buying them. Not seen them since I put them wherever they are & no idea where that was!

If you're anything like me, they will be stashed in a pile or in a corner of a random shelf/ unit/ worktop that you were standing near but you will have put something on top of them afterwards.

🤣 @OccultGnuNew no, I cleaned that yesterday while I was looking for them.

It doesn't really matter if they don't turn up - it's just bugging me that they don't seem to be anywhere!

You left something unattended containing sugar that had been purchased specifically for you .

The wrappers will be found in one of two places;

  1. Underneath/down the side of a child's bed
  2. Underneath the dog's bed

Do they still do fruit polos? Or only mint ones now?

My dad often had half (wtf? ) a polo in his pocket with fluff and his hanky EnvyEnvy (not envy) which he'd offer me and I willingly took as a 6 year old!

So, we know it's somewhere in your home.

Do you take something like a lunchbox, or laptop case or some kind of work related equipment into work everyday?
Could it be there?

You took them into work and put into your desk drawer. Your colleague opened the drawer looking for phone charger/key/pen/post it/snacks and took a few mints. They have a sugar craving, so came back again and again while you were elsewhete so finished the tube of mints. Then could not remember of the pack was full of tubes when they ate some, so took the whole pack with the plan to replace the next day thinking you wil not notice.They forget to replace and eventually remember so you will find a random of mints weeks later on your desk.

Happens regularly for me. To the point I have a little lidded box under my desk where I keep my treats.

Nope, just a large handbag that I emptied out entirely yesterday in my quest to find the polo's.

Not in the fruit bowl either - that's pretty empty at this point in the week until it's topped up at the market at the weekend.

@MissingMoominMamma I actually haven't checked the pantry! I'll check when I next get up.

If I was a multi-pack of polos I'd hide under the settee to avoid being murdered eaten.

My polos live in my bedside drawer. I only buy them to give one to the horse I ride after my weekly lesson! Sometimes my kids will steal them though.......
